I used some Lawn Sand on the lawn but some of the product spilt onto my paving stones and now there is an orangey-brown stain. What can I do to remove it?

The stain is a rust stain caused by Iron Sulphate, which is the mosskilling ingredient in the product. It oxidises on exposure to any moisture. Firstly sweep up any loose sand and dispose of it, taking care not to spill it on your clothing. We have tried various rust removal products and found HG Stainaway for Rust to be the most effective. Don’t use bleach as this may fix the stain permanently.
