I only have a concrete yard so grow everything in pots. I don’t want to keep repotting every year. What is the best compost to use?

Our loam-based John Innes range is perfect for permanent containers. It can be used for trees, shrubs and perennials. The sterilised loam and grit ensures good nutrient and moisture retention and its weight stops pots blowing over. Choose from J Arthur Bower's John Innes No. 3 or J Arthur Bower's Pots & Planters, both of which have the high nutrient levels necessary to keep plants healthy for many years. To get best results, it’s a good idea to replace the top 5cm. of compost each spring. For ericaceous plants use John Innes Ericaceous.
