| A system that gives good thermal insulation, reduces airborned sound and acts as a fire barrier. it is an ideal system for converting large properties into flats or to improve on existing standards. The EML or mesh is used to create a trough in which is laid a 25mm layer of 1 part OPC to 6 parts of Vermiculite V4 followed by at least 75mm of loose Vermiculite V4. This not only improves the thermal properties but reduces airborne sound form above. Vermiculite is non-combustible and does not give off any noxious fumes. |
