Lawns - May

May is a good month to tackle lawn weeds as they will almost certainly be growing strongly. Use J Arthur Bower's Feed Weed & Mosskiller if moss is still a problem. Try to apply when the soil is moist but the grass itself is dry. The product needs to sit on the leaves of the weeds for a full day, preferably two, to be effective. If it rains within that time the effect will be reduced. You should see the leaves curl up and shrivel over the next few days.

Mow established lawns once a week and feed them if you haven’t already done so using J Arthur Bower’s Lawn Food or New Horizon Organic Lawn Food.
