Containers - June

• Continue to plant up hanging baskets and patio containers using J Arthur Bower’s Tub & Basket Compost or Moisture Control Compost.

• Keep containers well watered - if they dry right out, flowering may be interrupted. Baskets will need watering at least once a day, twice in very hot conditions. Direct the water to the compost and water steadily until the basket starts to drip. It’s best to water in the early morning and/or evening.

• Containers will need regular feeding to promote long-lasting displays of flowers. Use J Arthur Bower’s Tub & Basket Liquid Plant Food or New Horizon Liquid Tomato Food once a week.
