Top Dressing Fertilisers
Sinclair offers a choice of two top dressing fertilisers:
- Sincron - for containerised and field-grown nursery stock
- 5-Star Nitrogen - for soil grown crops
Sincron
The ideal product to top-dress over-wintered plants, preventing a check in growth and making plants saleable earlier in spring and autumn.
With a new and even more effective formulation Sincron provides both fast and slow acting nutrients to sustain plants in healthy condition in the second and subsequent years.

Smaller Micro-Granules
- Easy to apply without sticking to foliage
- Safe and non-scorching
- Rapid breakdown to ensure nutrients reach the roots quickly
Three Forms of Nitrogen
- Quick-acting NITRATE nitrogen for immediate plant uptake
- Non-leachable AMMONIUM nitrogen as a medium reserve
- 100% available ISODUR nitrogen slow releases over 2-3 months once the growing medium is moist and above 8oC
Two Forms of Phophate
- Water-soluble phosphate for immediate uptake
- Slow release phosphate for sustained uptake
High Levels of Potash, Magnesium and Sulphur
- For balanced growth and good leaf colour
Range of Trace Elements
- Now with extra iron for bolder green foliage
Proven Success
- A formulation that has been well tested internationally and in the UK

Sinclair 5-Star Nitrogen
Ideal for intensively grown horticultural crops. It contains a nitrification inhibitor DMPP (3,4 dimethylpyrazolphosphate) which delays transformation of ammonium-N to nitrate-N for 6-10 weeks, reducing nitrogen leaching and increasing nitrogen efficiency.
